MENNONITE FARMER MOVING HAY

Saw this farmer moving hay (I think) and thought you might like these pictures.

Next weekend is Pirates Weekend here.  I would like to set up a yard sale that day - if it's not raining.  There is a post all set to come on next week, but I may not be here as much as I usually am.  This sale is for two purposes . To get rid of stuff I don't use.  To make money to finish off the bills on the car.  Believe me, I have lots of stuff I don't use.So if you don't hear me next Saturday, that's where I will be.

Good morning, Marilyn. I would have to have a full month of yard sales to get rid of stuff that doesn't get used at this house! I will admit, the only stuff I really collect is fabric and thread for my hobbies. Hubby...all I can say is that he comes from a LONG line of hoarders. Sigh.

I love the hay bales. A lot of our central valley farmers have went to the big bales. Cheaper to bale and less back and forth to store in the barns. They use them mostly at dairies and large production ranches. We still buy the 100 pound bales since we move them by hand. LOL

I hope you have a wonderful yard sale! Have a great weekend.

Good Morning Angela,
What I am putting in the yard sale is just a dent in all the stuff I have to get rid of. It just seems to multiply behind the dark closet doors.

I have seen them plowing the hay, but didn't know much about it. Guess I am a city girl. Thanks for telling us.

You have a great weekend, too,
Marilyn
