JEAN'S PUMPKIN BARS WITH CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

JEAN'S PUMPKIN BARS

4 eggs
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups pumpkin
3/4 cup melted butter
2 cups unsifted flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup chopped nuts (if desired)

Butter and flour a 15x10x1" jelly roll pan.  Mix eggs, sugar, pumpkin and butter.  Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and cinnamon.  Add to butter.  Stir in nuts; pour into pan.  Bake 25 minutes at 325 degrees.  \\

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

1 3 ox pkg. cream cheese, softened
6 Tbsp or 3/4 stick butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp cream
3 cups confectioners sugar

Combine all ingredients; beat and spread on cooled bars.
