Good Morning Marilyn, Oh my, my husband hates squirrels, he is constantly trying to find a way to keep them out of our bird feeders. Let's put it this way, about 99% of the time, the squirrels win. They are cute though, just don't let my husband know I said that! Cathy in Webster
Good Morning Cathy, We have a squirrel that crawls in the bird feeder to eat. It is the funniest thing to see. I won't let your husband know you think they are cute. I think they are cute, too.
Yes, cute! But one also has to be careful at the same time. Don't mean to rain on the parade, but it's a fact. Also, Cathy, have you tried hanging Slinky's(a toy) from the bird feeder? That may very well deter them from the feeder. Just a suggestion. Blessings, Carol
Good Morning Carol, You do have to be careful. Sometimes this one will crawl right up on my porch and look into the sliding glass door. When I put feed out, I just put it out, I don't try to feed them by hand like my brother use to do when we were kids. Instead I just snap pictures.
