SNOW STORM - FEBRUARY 16, 2016

The snow did not seem to bother the birds or the squirrels.  After their pictures is our maintenance man plowing our sidewalks and the village truck pushing some of the snow.  Next pictures of the snow design in the back yard.  You can see how deep the snow was around our picnic table.  Last picture is of Pierre, not very happy that he had to go potty in this stuff.  Sorry if pictures not clear, but it was snowing as I was taking them.

Oh my goodness, snow and more snow. I like the lead in picture.
Spring is just around the corner, or so the say.
Here in MO, suppose to be in the 60's today. But the winds are terrible.
I enjoy all your pictures. I also enjoy riding around and take pictures. As my kids tell me, weird ones.

Good Morning Jodie,
Yes, we have have snow, snow and more snow. We might be getting more the middle of next week. Spring is coming. I will take your 60's, but it is only going to be in the 20's or 30's here. Tomorrow we are suppose to be in the 40's. Thank you for the compliment. Glad you enjoy riding around and taking pictures. Do you have any you would like to share on here?

I prefer a film camera instead of a digital. Wish I could send some. I like old barns, falling down old houses, cattle, etc. Yesterday I happen to see a very large lake with a dam. So very pretty.

Hi Jodie,
If you have a scanner, you can still scan film pictures and then send them to me - your computer to my computer. No problem.

Hi Tom,
Yes you did. We may have another Wednesday or Thursday - the weatherman isn't sure.

Well, you certain,y did get hit pretty good there! We had some very bitter cold here for a few days and a bit of ice(yuck) and rain that cleared most of the driveway. I think I would liken this winter to a "roller coaster". Nothing's been really consistent, and we remain behind on precipitation totals(as does much of the State I assume).
Have you heard from Elmer and Anna at all recently? Hope they're having a nice time and that Anna's leg is healing well.
Blessings to everyone, Carol

Hi Carol,
We really got hit pretty hard here. It isn't as bad as it was last year though. It just came all at once. They are saving we might get hit again next week.

Elmer and Anna are having a nice time. Anna is doing well.

Blessings to you and yours,
Marilyn

I love the winterscapes with the trees all flocked in snow. Poor Pierre, having to go out in the cold and wet to do his business. The really cold day photos were lovely because I could see there was sunshine. That is always a bonus. It has been thawing here most of the week. High 40s to mid 50s, gives spring fever but we know, this too shall pass!! Really enjoy what your calendar is sharing too. Thank you Jean, for a recipe that sounds really good. Have a great weekend.

Hi dynnamae n,
Glad you like the winterscapes. I have more than what I have on. Pierre was not happy going out in the snow, cold and wet to do his business. It has been thawing here today and suppose to tomorrow - but then it turns cold again. So happy you enjoy my calendar. Will thank Jean for the recipe for you.

Hope you have a great weekend, too,
Marilyn

Hi Marilyn. I am at my pc instead of tablet and happened to visit again. Just want to say, I didn't really notice your header photo, or whatever it is called, but I sure did notice seeing it in a big size here and I have to tell you, it is gorgeous. Hugs to you and Pierre.

Hi dynnamae n,
Thank you, that is my favorite street in the village. Grew up on that street.

Hugs back to you,
Marilyn and Pierre

Really like the photos. Is that a black squirrel?

Hi Anonymous,
Glad you liked the photos. The squirrel was sort of a mix of grey and dark brown.
