AMISH FARM - THEY FINALLY GOT IN THE HOUSE

I have been by this farm for a couple of years.  Originally, they lived in the building in the last picture.  Finally, they are living in the new large house.  Elmer was with me when we went by this house and said it would never have taken us that long to build a house - and it isn't completely done.  Oh, these pictures were taken in February.

Good Morning Tom,

Last time I was down there was in February or March. Will have to go down there again, too.

Good Morning Marilyn, the house looks huge. My husband built our home, mostly by himself and it took us 3 years to complete. Glad the town was very understanding, not sure they would do that now, this was back in the early 80's. Cathy in Webster

Hi Cathy,
I wonder if this Amish family was building theirs alone? You really took a long time to build your house, but I bet it is just what you wanted.

Hi Vickie,
That is a big house. I wonder how many people are living in it. I will have to take Elmer me with me out there again. He would get out of the car and ask them.
