GOD'S CREATURES - SQUIRREL & HOW MARY KEEPS THEM FROM THE BIRD FEEDER !!!

I was at my computer, looked out my door and there was this squirrel.  I called her Mama because she usually has her little ones with her.  She is the only one that will walk up on my porch .  Hadn't seen her in a while and thought something happened to her, but am glad to see her back.  Took these pictures though by glass door and my screen door.

Mary sent me the below picture to show how she prevents squirrels from getting into her bird feeders.  Thank you Mary.

I adore watching squirrels, after years of complaining that they ruined my vegetable garden. They dug up all the seeds, took one bite out of all my lovely zucchini and left the rest! They overcame every deterrent on my bird feeders. Finally we discovered a system that works and they no longer raid the feeders, and I have stopped gardening, I love them. I like when one looks fondly up at the feeders saying " hey maybe I can figure this out" but no. I don't believe in reincarnation but in case...I want to come back as a squirrel. They seems to have such fun chasing all over the yard up and down trees. My cats just sit outside and watch, they pass within inches of my cats saying " no they don't chase". I would never cross the street because that seems to trip them up the most. Enjoy

Good Morning Mary,
How to you keep them from eating out of the feeders? I enjoy watching them run around our yard here. Believe most of us keep them in food all year around. They do get into the garden, but not too bad here. Yes, they tease the man upstairs cat. They can climb the tree faster and higher than the cat can. I enjoy just watching them running around and play.
