Good Morning Marilyn! How true this is! We must never forget the sacrifice so many men and women have made to give us the freedom to enjoy this great land of ours. God Bless. Cathy in Webster
What a simple and beautiful expression of remembrance that silhouette at the graveside is... Is it on someone's property? Were it available for purchase, what a lovely tradition displaying it on Memorial weekend it could become across our Nation.....' A blessed weekend to you and yours, Marilyn dear.
Hi Heritage Hall, It is in front of the Newark, New York American Legion. I don't remember when they got it. I think one of the members made it. I took a picture of it and used it this year and previous years. Don't believe they have pictures of it for sale. A blessed weekend to you and your, too.

The sad thing is the "Freedom" soldiers died to give us is being whittled apart by politicians and legislators!

True, very true.
