QUILT SALE - ST. JOHN'S LUTHERAN CHURCH, LYONS, NY

I had St. John's Quilt Sale on a couple of years ago.  Seeing I was in Lyons and they were, again, having their annual quilt sale, I stopped.  They were kind enough to let me take pictures of their quilts, this year, like they did a couple of years ago.  Most of these quilts are handmade, but some of them, the ladies, used their sewing machine on.  Money from the quilt sale goes to their church charities and to give away to others.  If someone in their area have a fire, are homeless, etc. the church will give the person a free quilt.  They also give away free baby quilts for new born babies.  Their group is small, but they are a busy group.

I bought one of the quilts, that will be on, probably next week for a friend of mine for Christmas.  It is the size of a single bed.  It cost me $25.00.  I couldn't believe the price was so low.

If you are going to be in the area, they will be having it next Friday, and Saturday.  They are one block from the town park. You could walk there, but if you buy like I did, you might need the car to load all your purchases in.

I will more on next week.

Lovely quilts and such good pricing! They must only charge for the fabrics!
