I got this the day before Free Table Day here.  On Free Table day you can bring in anything you want to get rid of and take anything else there you want.  Items are not to be brought in before 9:Am in the morning.  If you bring them in early, they can be thrown out by our maintance people.  I found this the night before and knew it was either take it or it might be thrown out - so I took it.

It was covered with something.  I don't know what it was.  Because I got sick the next day, I never got a chance to clean it.  Anna has been to my house a couple of times while I have been sick and was going to clean it, but something came up.

After the African Violet show Jean, Anna , Dottie and I were talking in the living room when Anna went in the kitchen.  When she didn't come out in a little while, I went there to see what she was doing.  She was scrubing this.  Anna said she wanted to see what that looked like.  When she got done, this is what it looked like.  I was so happy.  We all looked and admired it.

After they left I looked up the company on the bottom.  It was made by Pfaltzgraff in China and manufactured date is 2000.  It is called: Winterberry Stoneware Teapot for one Christmas Heritage.  The teapot holds two cups and the cup holds one cup.

I really like this and now I will have to make tea in it. I thank Anna so much for cleaning this for me.

Good Morning Mary,
Anna did clean it up well, but there are a couple of tiny spots on it that she couldn't get off. They are on the outside so she said it would still be fine to use.

What a sweet little set you found. That was a wonderful thing for Anna to do.

Good Morning Vickie,
Isn't it though? I wasn't sure what it was when I first picked it up - just pretty. When I got it home, I figured it out. It was wonderful for Anna to clean it up for me.

Good Morning dynnamae n,
Isn't it beautiful and a joy to have !! Anna sure did a good job. I don't drink tea as much as I should. Anna told me now that she cleaned it up to use it. I better get to it.
