OSPREY

Being ill, I haven't been able to keep track of my Osprey birds that come near my home like I have done previous years.  The top two are of the male and female.  In the nest (picture 3) is their baby. In picture 4, is the male osprey.  Pictures 5, 6, and 7 are recent pictures of the baby osprey.  The last picture is of the father osprey. So far the baby osprey hasn't flown.

Good morning Marilyn, magnificent birds, especially love the second picture of the osprey in flight. Wonder when the baby will decide to take flight, looks big enough. Cathy in Webster

I remember the first time I saw an osprey dive from the top of an extremely tall evergreen tree into the brook that runs alongside our house. And YES it did grab a fish in its talons and returned to it's perch to eat it. Very impressive bird. Bonnie

A wonderful bird - happy to see there's a baby. Too often the eggs don't produce a baby. Hope all goes well for the osprey family!
