Anna and I are back from Florida. We have been back since before Easter. Bishop Eli had to be back for Good Friday, so we came back with them.
Anna was worried if we would have any food in our house when we got home. Before we left we cleaned out everything that would spoil while we were gone. Anna went so far as to start the grocery list while we were on Amtrak on the way back.
When we got home, the cupboards, refrigerator, and every place else in the kitchen was full of food. All of our children, neighbors, and friends filled us with dinners and groceries. When Anna started checking off the list, she had made - all of them were there.
Some of the casseroles we found, from the children, were their favorites, maybe not ours. Anna and I decided it was because it was their silent way of saying invite them to our house for dinner. So on Easter Sunday, we had all our children and grandchildren over for dinner.
When talking with Bishop Eli, he laughed and said he and Emma found the same thing in their kitchen, too. Casseroles the children like were in their refrigerator, too. We invited Eli, Emma and his family for Easter, but one of their daughters had arrangements for their family at their house. So they went there.
Oh, I almost forgot. David, Jean's husband, called and told us that our our freezer, at their place was full of meat. Before we left we used as much meat there as we could, so it was almost empty. Anna and I went to see David and Jean and also checked out what was in our freezer. While we were gone, our children filled it back up for us. At least, our children won't let us starve. We thanked all our children at Easter dinner.
Right now I am itching to start plowing. All the tools, horses and equipment are ready to go. I did plow part of one of our fields the other day, when it was snowing. The snow was coming down and melting when it hit the ground. I saw Anna shaking her head at me.
We are glad to see harvesting done in the fall. We are tired. We want a rest. But, come Spring, we can't wait. We are ready to go. Well now, we are ready to go.
Trust God's Wisdom,
Elmer

Welcome home to Elmer and Anna, as well as to Bishop Eli and Emma.
All the Proverb blessings of Children is expressed so beautifully in
what Elmer and Anna found in their homecoming. "His Will done on earth
as it is in Heaven." Blessed Easter to all.
