PIERRE'S - "THE BARK"-MEET MY NEW FRIEND

Meet my new friend Tyler.  My Mom's friend had to put her dog to sleep do to cancer.  She decided that she would like another dog.  She looked all over, but could not find a small dog - until she found Tyler.

Tyler is a four year toy poodle.   Mom's friend called the Humane Society.  They told her they had a poodle coming in.  Friend went down, saw Tyler and filled out the application.  Others signed up for Tyler, but she was the first one.  She took Mom and another friend to see Tyler.  As Mom had me, her friend wanted to know what Mom thought.  Mom told her to take Tyler.  Mom's friend had owned several dogs, but never a poodle.  As Mom's friend was a senior citizen - she got Tyler FREE.

Tyler's previous owners had to go into a nursing home.  They kept Tyler inside and he only went out to the groomers.  He was on pee and poop pads.  So when he got home to Mom's friend's he didn't know about doing his business outside.  It was a whole new world to him.

He didn't know about other dogs, either.  When I first came to his new home to see him, he didn't know if I was a friend or not.  I soon let him know, I was his friend.  We played together and we became friends.  He is in shock to see other dogs, but he is getting use to them now.

Being a poodle, he is smart.  He learned to go outside fast.  We don't think he had ever had toys before he came to his new home - but he does now and plays with them.  He still does not understand what dog cookies are, like I do.

Mom's friend really loves Tyler.  She is so glad that she got him.

First picture is of Tyler.  Second picture is of Tyler and myself playing at his house.

Hope you like, Tyler,
Pierre

Yay! Just look at that face! You knew I would be happy for your friend. This is just how we got our Murphy. From the humane society because his owner went to the nursing home. Tyler will be so very happy in his new home now. I can see it in the second picture. Pierre and Tyler are smiling. :) I hope little Tyler lives a long, happy life with your friend.🐩

I'm glad Tyler found a good home and has a new friend in Pierre that can show him how to play with toys and what dog cookies are.

Good Morning Vickie,
People can get the best pets at the humane society. Poor Tyler, was scared there, but he is so happy he has a great home now. He is spoiled all the time - like I am at my house. We asked if a lady over 80 should get another dog a few weeks ago. Well, that is how old Tyler's new Mom is, but if anything happens to her Tyler comes to us. We hope Tyler has a long happy life too.

Happy for all! I wish everyone would adopt instead of buying a pet. There are far too many who need homes - it just seems the right thing to do.
I know that you will be a good friend and teacher to Tyler, Pierre.

Good Morning Mary,
I agree with you. Most dogs at our Humane Society are large dogs, so getting Tyler there was a real prize. I am such a good friend. Had to even teach him how to use a leash. Us poodles are smart, it doesn't take long for us to learn.

Hello Debra,
Yes, came from a shelter and has a great home, now. Hope they have a long and happy life, together, too.
