SENATOR HENRY GRIFFITH'S HOUSE FOR SALE

This was built in 1925 for Henry and Agnes Griffith,  It was their wedding gift from Senator and Mrs. Frederick Griffith, his parents.    At the time the house was built Henry Griffith had not become Senator.  The house has 9 bedrooms, 6 1/2 bathrooms, and four floors.  This house is still in the Griffith family, but is up for sale.  There are servants quarters, garden, 3 car garage, and more.

I never thought I would see the day that it went up for sale.  I do know the selling price, so if you want to know e-mail me.  Hope that it stays a house much like it is.

...I've always admired this house. It's a bit too large for us.

Good Morning Tom,

It's a bit to large for me, too.

Be still my heart - They don't build them like this anymore....
elegance personified. Almost afraid to ask the price tag ...

Hello Heritage Hall,

They don't build them like this anymore. I don't know if am allowed to put the price on or not but it is $399,900. You aren't seeing half of what the house has. I tried to get pictures of the kitchen, but couldn't. It has an all modern kitchen - would be any chief's dreams come true. Also has an electric stairway chair that they don't show in the pictures. There is still lots more in this house I haven't mentioned.

Lovely house - I think if it were in this area, suburban Philly, it would go for a much higher price. Real estate around here, Chester Cty/PA, is so high.
Thanks for showing us - love to get a peek at old houses.

Hi Mary,
Glad you liked seeing it. I really thought the price would be higher than it is being the size, land and what's in it.
