More Amish and Mennonit buggies. Like that truck.
Automobile parking lot
As per Anna's post, this is the auction that I took her to. Their is one auction right after the other. There is also food to buy to eat. I really enjoyed it. As Anna said, they would not allow me to take pictures inside.

ANNA'S POST
Saturday morning, Marilyn came to my house. She had been to Jean's and no one was there. She had been to Bishop Joseph's and no one was there. She came to out house and I was home. Told her if she waited until my baking in the oven got done, I would take her where everyone probably was. So she had coffee and cinammon roles that I had made.
I had a call on the shanty phone by the road that someone wanted Elmer to come over and look at their roof before the storm. I told them that I would get Elmer over there today, but that didn't mean if something was wrong that he would be able to fix it. People believe that if something goes wrong with their roof or siding that Elmer can come over and fix it. They don't understand that if there is damage, Elmer has to order material and it takes time taking off the old one and putting on the new one.
I was going to hook up the buggy to go tell Elmer when Marilyn pulled in the driveway. So after the coffee and rolls, off we went. Ontario Produce Auction which was a few roads over from where Elmer and I live is where everyone was. Right down the road from Eli and Emma's house. Marilyn had been by there, but had never been there when they were having an auction. She will have a post of the building later in this week.
We went inside to find Elmer. The place was packed and they did not allow pictures on the inside. I finally found Elmer and Eli and told them about the phone call. So we all got into the car and off to the people's house. Elmer and Eli took a look at the roof. Neither Elmer or Eli could say if it would leak or parts blow off during the storm. Yes, the people needed a new one. No, they couldn't get one on before the storm.
After we left, Elmer and Eli got talking. Maybe they could do something to repair it a little bit. So when they got to our house, they got the buggy where Elmer has all his tools and ladders and off they went. It was a few hours before they got back. They told the people it was a batch up job and they weren't sure it would last, but it was the best they could do with this short notice. As we are leaving for Pinecraft, they gave them the name of a couple of other people who might replace the roof if they didn't want to wait until we got back. I guess the people got a little upset that we would not give up part of our vacation to replace their roof. Elmer tried to explain that this being winter is about the only time we get a vacation. Also, with Eli being Bishop it makes it more selective when they can go. The people were not happy, but that is the way it goes. You can't please everyone.
So, we are going to Pinecraft. We feel sorry for Michael because he is renting out cottage and will have to move in with Albert and Olive. Michael says it's okay. They are getting along a lot better now that he has different friends. Grandmother Olive is not like a hawk anymore. Olive said it was fine, he is a good boy, but she still keeps her eyes on him.
I am rambling on like Elmer here. We go by Amtrak like we usually do. We will be there all of March and part of April. Eli and Emma are coming, too and will be staying with his parents. Our children are suppose to take care of our farm but to be on the safe side, Elmer also asked Thomas to check and make sure they do and to clear snow when needed. So our next post should be from Pinecraft.

Anna

MARILYN SAYS:
Right now it is raining outside, but we are suppose to get winds today and tomorrow morning up to 70 miles an hour. My computer is moving slow right now. So if you don't hear from me that means that I lost my electric. I have said this before and it hasn't happened yet. But, the one time I don't tell you will be the time it does. So, please take care of yourselves if you are in this area.

DEER
You might have to look close for these deer. Was driving home and saw them. They were a lot closer, but I put the window down to take the picture and they took off into the trees. I guess that windows make noise they can hear.
