WHERE THE THREE CANALS MEETS

While walking through Butterfly Nature Trail, I found a lot of things I didn't know.  The first picture is the entrance of Butterfly Trail.  The second tells of Three Canals Side by Side.  I didn't know of this until I went on the walk. The last two pictures are of the canals meeting.

Love the water photos - serene! There's a canal in New Hope, Pa by the Delaware river. Once took a canal barge ride there years ago.

Good Morning Mary,
Glad you enjoyed the photos. I have been on a boat and gone down part of the Erie Canal.

The original would have been done in the same era as our Rideau Canal.

Hello William,
I just read about the Rideau Canal. That is very interesting, too.
