1930 FORD MODEL A ROADSTER

Went to the drug store to pick up my medicine when I saw this 1930 Ford Model A Roaster sitting outside.  I asked the man if I could take pictures and he approved.  This particular Model A does not have a rumble seat in the back but has a trunk.  The gentleman in picture four told me his Grandfather purchased this car new.  He gave  it to the man's father.  His Father gave the car to him.  When his Father came out I asked if I could take his picture, but he refused.  This car was in mint condition.

 THOMAS' BAKED APPLE PUDDING

4 apples

Sugar

Cinnamon

1 pint flout (2.33 cups)

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1.2 cup sugar

1 egg well beaten

2 tablespoons melted lard (or butter)

2/3 cup milk

Pare, core, and slice apples and cover bottom of 1-inch deep baking dish,  Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon, Add a little water and cover with batter made by mixing the other ingredients. Bake 1/2 hour.  Cherries or peaches can be substituted.

Thomas and Michael are the last because they will eat anything and not complain, so getting favorites from them are hard.  They say whatever you like.  Finally, I got a favorite from Thomas.  Michael is next.

AMERICAN LEGION POST 34 - TRAIN ON WHEELS TRANSPORTATION

I saw this Train on wheels in our village and I had to follow it until it stopped.  This is owned by the Manchester - Shortsville American Legion.  It is used to transport members from one American Legion to another.  The last picture is of Mr. Gardner - the sole driver.  I thank the American Legion for allowing me to take these pictures to put on here.
