Good Morning,
If you didn't read the last comment on yesterday's post, we have an Amish man that is going to give us a post. He is a friend of Jean's and David's. He volunteers with David at the Fire Department. I have some questions about the Amish that people have answered so I thought I would give them to him to answer. I met him and his wife at David's Grandmothers funeral, but I met so many people I can't remember everyone. I spoke with him on the phone and he seems like a nice man with a sense of humor.

Someone donated a tractor for the auction? Wow, there are some big ticket items in your outside pictures.

It will be nice to hear from an Amish man once in a while. How kind of him to step in and help.

I think about Jean and David's situation all the time and feel so bad that they're dealing with this. What's really sad is that the children can be so negatively affected and hurt by the actions of someone who thinks that they're protecting them, when they could actually be causing so much mental harm and anguish. I'll continue to pray for a good outcome.

Hi Doreen,
Yes, they had the tractor for sale. Someone donated it.

I think that was kind of the Amish man too. He told me to give him the questions and he would answer them as well as he can. I am also thinking of letting him do the post on the buggy that was up for sale, too.

I feel sorry for Jean, David and the children, too. They are not the only ones. Sarah, her husband and family are being checked out too. The only reason Martha and Joseph are not in it is because they don't have any Foster Children in their home right now.

What really gets you is, these people are trying to help children that wouldn't have homes. To give them the care, love and religion that they need and should have. This is what you get. That is my personal opinion.

so sorry to hear of the difficulties they are facing. I do not even know them, but from reading your posts, they seem like very kind, generous people trying their best to help children who need it. May God Bless Them for that! It's great the way everyone has pulled together to help with the auction. I would very much like to read what the Amish friend would have to contribute here.

Hello Annie,
I will pass your comments on to Jean. Sure she will appreciate them. Our Amish man should be on July 8th.
