DOREEN MAKES ANNA'S HAM AND BROCCOLI CASSEROLE

Doreen was so kind to send us a picture of Anna's Ham and Broccoli Casserole that she made.  She said " I made Anna's Ham and Broccoli Casserole last night with my leftover Easter ham and it was fantastic.  Attached is a picture that I took of it right out of the oven. I changed a few things because I wanted to use what I had.  I used a can of Cream of Chicken Soup and one can of Cream of Celery Soup, and along with the broccoli I added some mixed vegetables that I wanted to use up, but everything else was pretty much the same.  Please thank Anna for this great recipe."

I did thank Anna for you Doreen.  Anna said she was glad that you tried it and your family enjoyed this recipe as much as her family does.

That picture sure looks delicious.  Thank  you for sharing it with us, Doreen.

This casserole was delicious. I'm planning on making it again this week.

I'm happy to hear that everything was ok in your building after the fire. It's scary to think that someone fell asleep after putting something to cook on the stove.

Good Morning Doreen,

It looks delicious. Glad you are making it again.

Last night wasn't the first time this happened. The fellow did it before, but not as bad as he did it last night. What saved it from being worse than it was is there are fire walls between our apartments. I don't know about him.

Hi Folks,
Boy, I am not one of Pierre's favorite people right now. I took him to the vet to get his annual shots and he is not happy. He also has to lose about 4 or 5 pounds. I guess we both put on the weight during the winter. Have to get back doing more walking.

While I was walking around my flower beds and rose bush this afternoon I noticed something growing that I didn't know what it was. Then I remembered how Sue Ann posted last fall, about planting garlic to keep deer away. So now my garlic is growing nicely between the flowers and around my rose bush. I have my fingers crossed that it will keep the deer away this year. I completely forgot that my husband planted it in November. A very nice surprise!

Oh, what a nice surprise, Doreen. Sure hope that it keeps the deer away.
