JEAN'S TUNA CASSEROLE WITH MACARONI

JEAN'S TUNA CASSEROLE WITH MACARONI

1 8 oz pkg macaroni (elbow or shell)
3 eggs, chopped
1 can tuna, flaked
1 cup cooked peas (or canned)
1 4 oz can mushroom pieces (or fresh)
2 Tbsp pimento, minced
4 Tbsp butter
4 Tbsp flour
1 tsp salt
2 cups milk
buttered bread crumbs for topping

Cook macaroni, rinse and drain.  Combine with eggs, tuna, peas, mushrooms and pimento.  Mix well.  Place mixture in buttered casserole.  Make white sauce with butter, flour, salt, and milk.  Add white sauce to casserole; top with buttered bread crumbs.  Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.  Serves 6.
