DYNNAMAE N'S HANDMADE QUILTS

Dynnamae n sent us some pictures of quilts that she hand makes.  The top two are self binding baby blankets that she made from recycled men's shirts and a navy twin sheet. She only had to buy flannel for the backing and how it frames the piecework. Blankets three and four are made of recycled scrub tops.  The lizard prints are the scrubs.  The royal blue square's are from a men's shirt.  All the rest of the fabrics are new.  Blackets five, six and seven are done with two pieces of flannel.  The big quilt with purple is hers for her double bed.  She only tied that one off.  It was her first quilt.  The queen size quilt in reds and blues, she only made the top for her niece and her hubby.  She then took it to someone who does long arm quilting and had it finished.  The last is her favorite and mine, too.  That is a curvy log cabin made from a precut layer cake with her adding the cream fabrics for the skinny legs.

Thank you dynnamae n for sharing your beautiful quilts and baby blankets with us.

Anyone else have anything, they would like to share?  Would be glad to put them on New York State of Mind.
