First, I would like to thank you all for your prayers for my friend Nancy. She is still in the nursing home. At this time, she has a problems standing and walking. Also, she and her husband are having problems with what the insurance company will pay and what they won't. You prayers are greatly wanted and appreciated.
Like Elmer, I am asking what you like to see on here and what you don't. I know you like Amish and Mennonite, but aside from that I'm not sure. It seems that I put a lot of things that only one or two are interested in. I do know, that I can't please everyone, but I feel I don't put much interesting on. I also was thinking of maybe just going three days a week. Maybe that would get more people - maybe it wouldn't.
I don't expect everyone to respond with everything I put on, but so many times only one maybe two do. I check the Posts and Stats and they are really low too.
So I am just wondering if there is anything that could improve New York State of Mind? Any suggestions? What do you like and don't like?

...I think that you need to remember that this is YOUR blog! Post things that interest YOU. If you find them interesting, others will find them interesting too! There are many beautiful things in and around Palmyra that you may take for granted, look at them with fresh eyes.
I agree with Tom. Although I don't comment every day, I read your blog each day and enjoy all the pictures you post.

I know it takes dedicated time and effort to post continuously - maybe some of your long-term readers could do guest posts about different subjects? Hello Marilyn......Just wanted to let you know that I do read the blog every day and do so with the hope that I can get a view into the rural life of Palmyra (and especially how it differs from where I live). You have been successful in doing that and I personally most enjoy the posts from different folks...recipes.....farm and animal info....and in the winter, the SNOW! Since I am a quilter, it is nice to see the pictures of the quilts that are sold at the show you go to. One of my most favorite posts, however, was when you went to the garden place that sells all the violets - that was amazing (since I enjoy violet growing myself). How about including a picture of yourself, once in awhile? Just my $.02....keep up the good work. Chris

Thank you so much. I try to comment, but sometimes the day moves on and I forget to do so. The most important thing is to remember what Tom said - this is your blog, do what you love. It is hard to come up with different things, so if you need to cut down how many posts you do, do so. Do what feels right to you. We're here and we appreciate you.

Marilyn, prayers for Nancy. I follow your blog regularly , but have gotten out of the habit of commenting. Don't know why! As for Elmer's question about future posts.....I learn something from everything he, and everyone, tells us about their every day lives. That probably seems silly to them! Please thank him, and everyone else, who takes time out of their busy lives to give you a post. THANK YOU, too!!
