AMISH BUGGIES, HORSES AND MORE

These are pictures that I took mostly in November and December.

NEXT WEEK THERE WILL BE SOMETHING ON ALMOST EVERY DAY.  ON MONDAY IS MARTHA, EDWARD WILL BE ON TUESDAY,   WEDNESDAY IS RECIPE.  THURSDAY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY ARE THE LAST OF THE PICTURES I HAD FROM THE HAITI AUCTION.  SUNDAY WILL BE A CHURCH - I HAVE'T PICKED WHICH ONE OUT YET.

Good Morning Marilyn and Pierre! I had not seen an Amish home like the one in the 3rd picture before.

Good Morning Vickie, Mabel land Henry,

This is one I found in Lyons, NY. There are several of them in the area.

Very nice pictures, especially the ones without snow.

In the third picture from the end the carriage almost looks like a hearse, and if it's not, that made me wonder how their caskets are taken to the cemetery at a funeral. I don't remember anyone talking about that in the funeral discussions.

I'm looking forward to your posts next week. Have a nice weekend.

Hi Doreen,

Glad you like the pictures.

I will have Martha or Elmer answer your question.

You have a nice weekend, too,
Marilyn

Very nice pictures! My favorite is the buggy on a hill at sunset?

Hi Melissa M,

Thank you for the compliments. It really isn't a sunset. It was in late morning - just shows how the weather was at the time.
