ANNA'S HAM AND BROCCOLI CASSEROLE

ANNA'S HAM AND BROCCOLI CASSEROLE

1 cup shredded cheese
2 10 1/2 oz cans cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup chopped onions
4 Tablespoon butter
4 cups diced ham
2 10 oz pkgs frozen chopped broccoli (or fresh broccoli cooked)
2 cups Minute Rice
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Cook onion in butter.  Cook broccoli according to package or cook fresh broccoli; drain.  In very large bowl combine all ingredients.  Put in buttered casserole dish.  Bake 350 degrees uncovered for 40 to 50 minutes.

NOTE:  This is a dish you can make ahead and freeze.  When you need it, put it in the oven covered for 1 1/2 hours at 400 degrees.  Then remove cover for 30 minutes more.  Stir when you remove the cover. This is great for left over ham.  Anna

This is perfect. I'll have a ton of left over ham after Easter.

I just want to be sure that you only use one can of soup because you wrote the word "cans". With all of these ingredients I was wondering if it should say 2. Since there is no other liquid, I assume the rice should be cooked before mixing everything together?
