PIERRE'S "THE BARK" - HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

Today marks three years since my Mom took me into her home as her little boy.  She is the Mom I have lived with the longest.  Mom says this is my "forever" home.

Actually, I consider her my only Mom.  The other two ladies got rid of me.  They maybe had good reasons.  My Mom says not to be bitter.  If I hadn't had my previous homes, we might not have found each other.  I guess she's right.

Mom also thought of what would happen to me if she got sick and had to go to the hospital.  Who would take care of me?  She is not planning on going, but you never know.  Before she got me, she had Rickie.  Mom fell and broke her ankle in the apartment.  Poor Rickie, got passed from one apartment to the other.

We decided I wanted to go to Jane's apartment who, next to my Mom, is my best friend.  Mom asked Jane. She said if anything happened to Mom, I was to be brought to her apartment immediately.  Someone was to bring me, my bed, my dog food and my toys.  Mom said they would need a truck to take all my toys to Jane's, I have so many.  Jane said she would take care of me, as her own little boy.  She would even let me sleep on her bed.

It makes Mom and I feel better that if something happened, I would have a place to go.  That someone I know and love would take care of me.  Mom says we hope we never need to use it, but she feels better knowing I wouldn't be passed around and would be taken care of.

So today, Mom and I are going to celebrate Valentine's Day.  It is a big day for us. It is sort of like another birthday.

The pictures are not of me.  They are pictures Mom found looking up poodle Valentine's Day pictures.  We couldn't decide which one we liked the best, so we put them both on.

We hope that you have a Happy Valentine's Day, too.

Love,
Pierre and Marilyn

Happy Valentine's day to you and Pierre.
You are very smart to make arrangements 'in case'. You never know what is waiting for you down the road.
I keep telling myself to check out nursing homes, etc for temporary place for my husband. Just in case I would need to go to hospital. Its on my list to do.

Happy Valentine's Day to you, Jodie,

It would be a good thing to check out because you never know when you might need it. The old saying: Just in case. Just in case what? Just in case.

Jane is a wonderful neighbor to be willing to take me in. Glad you love the poodle pictures, we just couldn't decide which ones to put on, so we put them both.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY TO EVERYONE !!!

Pierre and I are staying in today. The snow is really coming down. Of course it started while I was doing some running around this morning. Got so bad I could hardly see Main Street and I was driving on it !! So except for Pierre's walks, we are staying inside where it is warm.

Happy Valentine's Day to you and Pierre, Marilyn. It's lovely that this is also Pierre's adoption date. More love to share. Glad you are inside keeping warm. It has been blizzard like winds and whiteout conditions all day in northern MI. where I live. I'll be glad when the wind settles down. Blessings to you both.

Hope you had a Happy Valentine's Day. Pierre and I spent it together remembering when I got him. I read him the add that was on Craig's List. We played ball. We just sat together and cuddled. We just had a good time together yesterday.

I couldn't have gotten a better boy.
